It's new and it's gorgeous. But you can't tell me that the architect wasn't inspired by design elements from '2001'. For my non-American readers -- that's you, Julia -- I'll clarify that I mean the American film from 1969, 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY. You probably already knew that so forgive me if that seemed patronizing.

I mean it even seems like there are invocations of the monolith here and there.
