So brush up on your Russian. Cause if you were in Moscow (and surrounding regions) right now, you would find the following trailer on 1600 Russian movie screens.
Outstanding. The scale of the film is somewhat larger than previous clips indicated. Very impressive. And, even without knowing what they were saying, I laughed several times. Obviously, that says something about the fundamental comic signifiers, if I may get all Film Commenty about it.
It actually feels a decent size, the movie. You'll probably see a finished print in LA since we're going to go ahead and get a couple before sending the elements back to Moscow for printing.
But Marius is about to sign to direct a Russian language thriller here in Moscow in the summer. While 'Kaput!' is 1.85, I'm trying to convince Marius to do this next movie in scope, since the extra frame is where the scary is.

I can't get as eloquent as jmd but let me tell you "I'm laughing out loud and I don't even know what is being said" I love it !
